Meet The Propel Finance Team

Who We Are

Meet the Propel Finance Group Team -Adelaide Mortgage Brokers

Propel Finance Group is an Adelaide mortgage broker established in Norwood, South Australia in 2011 with a simple goal: provide honest, personalised finance advice that puts clients first. Not just at settlement, but throughout the life of their loan.

The business was founded by Peter Catlin, with Dan Prentice joining as a Director in 2013. In 2021, Deon Kruger joined as an Adelaide finance and mortgage broker, bringing a focus on structured lending strategy and long-term client outcomes. Deon now leads the business day-to-day as Director, working directly with homeowners, investors, and business clients across Adelaide and nationally.

Our team is small by design. When you work with Propel, you work with a broker who knows your file; not a call centre, not a rotating junior team.

Our Values

  1. Integrity
We provide clear, honest advice. Trust is at the core of every interaction, and we ensure transparency so you can make informed financial decisions.

  2. People First
Our clients are always our priority. We take the time to understand your unique circumstances, moulding our services to build a relationship based on trust and support.

  3. Growth Mindset
The finance industry evolves, and so do we. Continuous learning and professional development means we bring current, relevant thinking to every client conversation.

  4. Teamwork
Success is achieved together. We work closely with clients, lender partners, and other professionals to make the process as smooth as possible.

Whether you’re an investor looking to use equity, a homeowner thinking about upgrading, or a business owner navigating commercial finance, Propel Finance Group is here to help.
